Great little local family run shop close to NAIT and DT! I have been frequenting this BBQ since 2006 - i believe they have been in that building for 35 years if memory serves. It is so tasty, really well priced but the best thing is its consistency. The flavours have not changed in the 12 years I have been going here.
BBQ pork, pork belly, duck all made in house. You can buy the meat by the pound - they have a meat tray that they put in a pizza box - perfect for last minute potluck. They will even do a whole suckling pig which from the photos looks awesome. Their dry boneless ribs are a nice treat also
The main take out dishes come with fried rice and noodles you can opt for all rice, all noodles, add some steamed veg or go all veg (for an up charge). The Porker Combo is my goto meal. BBQ sausage, Pork, Fried Rice and Noodles - $8.50. One of my buddies is a big BBQ Duck fan and swears by it at this place - I defer to him on that.
There is no seating in the shop to speak of - they have one table and two chairs but it is not a place I would prefer to sit to enjoy this meal.
They sell canned beverages and it is a cash only establishment. It is not uncommon for the line in this little shop to be out the door, but it moves very fast. -

This place is going downhill. Use to be good. When there a few days ago, the place was empty during lunchtime. Want to get the combo, but there is no chicken leg and thighs. Will not be going there anymore.

Hello amazing value and pretty damn good quality.
Grabbed some BBQ pork and a large side of veggies to go for lunch the other day. The trail of customers before and after me indicated this is def a hidden local gem.
They have a variety of customizable lunch combo options featuring fried rice or chow mein & BBQ'd meats.
Be warned the parking lot is a bit dicey and traffic flow can be difficult around the 118 ave traffic circle just off 97 street.
The service was impeccable for a Chinatown spot and as friendly as it gets.
I can't recommend this place enough for a quick lunch on the go or BBQ'd meats to take home. I'm definitely trying their won ton soup next tine based on the fabulous BBQ Pork and veggies last week! -

They don't wear gloves or wash their hands when preparing food for customers. When asked they said their hands clean.
The last time I bought bbq food from then I had to re stir fly the bbq again. That's the last time I'd order from them. -

Ecellent food at a great price. Their bbq pork and sausage are amazing. Everything made on site, freah and delicious. Prompt service with a smile. I have been a patron for over twenty years and can't see stopping now. A real treat for take out. Enjoy
